MTX Road Thunder Amplifiers

MTX Road Thunder Amplifiers are designed from the ground up at the MTX electronics engineering lab in Phoenix, AZ. The line is made up of three models, a 2-channel, a 4-channel and a monoblock Class D unit.

Road Thunder amps are packaged in a sleek and stylish black and red powder coated heatsink featuring a negative cut MTX logo on the top and solid rubber iso-feet for easy mounting.

The RT404 is a 4-channel amplifier that is rated to produce 37.5 watts of power per channel into a 4 ohm stereo load and is bridgeable to 2 channels and is rated to produce 150 watts into a 4 ohm load. Other onboard features include a set of summed output RCA's for daisy chaining amps, independent front and rear gain controls and defeatable 18dB/octave crossover at 85Hz for both front and rear channel sets.

The RT202 amplifier is rated to produce 37.5 watts of power per channel into a 4 ohm stereo load. The unit is also stable to a 2 ohm load in stereo mode and is bridgeable at 4 ohm to produce a rated 150 watts of power. Other features include a variable gain control and defeatable 18dB/octave crossover at 85 Hz, which is selectable for Hi Pass or Low Pass operation.

The RT251D is a Class D mono-block subwoofer amplifier rated to produce 100 watts of power into a 4 ohm load. It is also rated to produce 200 watts of power at a 2 ohm load. This powerhouse features a variable gain control, Thunder EQ Circuit which can provide 0, 6, or 12dB of bass boost centered at 40 Hz and a Low Pass 18dB/octave crossover at 85 Hz.
